Following the structure used in retreat settings within the Buddhist practice, Tias is working one-on-one with committed students to facilitate their growth.

One-on-one sessions:

  • can be in person or via video chat
  • will track student’s growth not only in the physical practices but in training of the heart and mind.
  • will track the progress of teaching yoga and challenges within one’s personal practice.
  • may include work with dreams, obstacles on the path and study of the dharma.

Students must make an initial commitment to work with Tias as their primary teacher. There will be a simple ceremony to confirm this. This program is for students who are currently in or have graduated from the Prajna Yoga 500 Hour training program. Students must have a regular practice of both meditation and asana. Students may opt to receive mentorship on a regular basis (e.g. once per month) for a period of time, or periodically over the course of their training.

Mentorees meet with Tias for a minimum six sessions. Time spent in mentorship sessions may be applied toward a 500 hour teacher training certification. Contact Prajna Yoga office for more details.
