Wood Half Block

Handmade from solid ash. This is an ideal block for gaining a small amount of lift. Use under the sitting bones in virasana or use along with a full sized yoga block to achieve more lift. Good to use under the heels in standing or squatting poses. Use with blanket under the sitting bones to achieve lift in forward bends.

Wood Dowel

Handmade from solid cherry wood. The dowel is an easy to carry prop that can be used to release congestion in tight muscles. Use on the calf muscles (by sitting in virasana), use on the hamstring to "roller pin" the muscle bellies and attachments.

Wood Wedge

Handmade from solid cherry wood. The wedge is ideal for supporting a raised heel in standing poses, due to tightness in the calf muscle, plantar fascia and achilles tendon. Use to help support the heels in squatting poses. It is an effective prop when used to wedge the outer hip or femur to create internal rotation of the pelvis or thigh.

Wood Slant Board

Handmade from solid cherry wood. This prop is invaluable for students with compression around the wrists, as it is used to elevate the wrist off the floor in dog pose or handstands. It may also be used under the heels in squatting positions. Use in forward bends or savasana to help internally rotate the thigh.
