Bhakti Cacao Bliss Balls

This is one of my favorite recipes that I was introduced to by my dear student and friend, Jyl Kutsche!

INGREDIENTS

3 cups cashews
3 cups peanuts
1 cup macadamia nuts
2 cups shredded coconut
1 cup high quality organic cacao powder
1.5 cups raisins
1.5 cups sesame seeds
approx 1 cup honey or yacon syrup (I start with 1/2 cup and then add more until the sweetness is just right)
optional: 1 cup chia seeds

INSTRUCTIONS

Toast the cashews, peanuts & macadamia nuts. Let them cool. In a high speed blender or food processor grind the nuts into butter.
Mix all the ingredients, including the nut butter, in a large bowl & mix until well blended. Roll into balls. Depending on the size of your balls, this recipes makes approx 5 dozen. It’s nice to make a bunch because they freeze well!
