Santa Fe is an ideal location for yoga immersion and to awaken the vast potential that lies within. In northern New Mexico, the city is nestled in the high desert mountains called the Sangre de Cristos — the “Blood of Christ.” This region has a very long history of native tribal peoples living in the canyons and mesas of the desert terrain. There are vast open spaces around the Santa Fe area. This region is known for its ability to inspire. Artists, healers and spiritual seekers alike have been drawn to Santa Fe for its inspiration and peaceful atmosphere. The town is known for its healing properties given the light, penetrating blue skies, vast mountains and long-standing traditions of the Pueblo Indians. All construction within the Santa Fe limits is in the adobe (mud plaster) style, so the architecture including the Prajna Yoga Studio is made to blend into the desert landscape. Santa Fe is an ideal landscape for pilgrimage–one that is conducive to opening your mind, heart and spirit.
